Moshe Kantor Leadership and Philanthropic Achievements
Dr. Moshe Kantor who is a Jew was born in the year 1953. He studies in Moscow Aviation Institute and 1976, he got a degree. He did his masters in Science where he got a Ph.D. in Space Craft Automatic Control system. The Dr. is also known as a businessman because he is the leader of the Acron Group which is a company that has been publicly traded. This is a company that is known to be the largest mineral producers and distributors in the world.
Dr. Moshe was appointed to be the president of the European Jewish Congress in the year 2007. This is a position that he is serving up to date. He is also known to be a visionary who is against racism. He is also known to safeguard the freedom and security of the Jewish people.
He works to make sure that they have revitalized the Jewish life in Europe and beyond. It is the position that he has in EJC that will enable him to be able to serve the Jewish people entirely. The EJC is the most extensive organization that is dedicated to representing the interest of the Jewish people. The organization is large, and it covers over 2.5 million members. It focuses with over 42 nationalities where they strive to make sure that no Jewish is discriminated.
Dr. Moshe is also known to be particularly committed to Holocaust education. He strive to ensure that the history of the Jewish community is not forgotten especially the happenings of the 20th century. This is the reason that he went ahead and not only founded by chaired the World Holocaust Forum. At the same time he is the one who chairs the European Jewish fund. The fact that he is ready to fight for the Jewish community is what has to lead him to organize the international community is Krakow. The event was held on the 27th day of January in 2005. This was the sixtieth anniversary of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Nazi liberation camp. Other than being the chairman of the EJF, he is also a founder. The main aim of the company is to make sure that the status of the Jewish communities has been enhanced. At the same time, they ensure that the young people learn about their culture.
In 2008, Dr. Moshe Founded a Tolerance and reconciliation council. He now serves as the president of this organization. The council is made of the some Nobel prize winners of the Laureates, some former leaders of the European Union and any person who has interest in the relationship that the Jewish people have in Europe. Their agenda is to ensure that the Europeans do not meet with any bias.
